What if Transformers were made in Malaysia?
I watched it and I thought it was a really kickass movie.
The true stars of the shows are of course those damn sexy sweet cars that can transform into robots. And with the movie featuring new cars never seen before in Malaysia like the Chevrolet Camaro , the Pontiac Soltice and the modified Ford Mustang police car, I reckon Transformers has just succeeded in making many boyfood fantasies come true.
But after watching such an action-packed Hollywood movie, I walked back to my car and thought... What if Transformers were made in Malaysia?
Imagine how different it is gonna be like.
Firstly, there's not gonna be some silly little planet called Cybertron anymore. Instead, our Transformers will be coming in from Cyberjaya .
The bad guys will not be called the Decepticons and the good guys will not be called Autobots .
To reflect our true Malaysian flavour, the bad guys' name will be changed to DeceptiProtons .
And the good guys?
Peroduabots.
Heck, maybe the title of movie won't even be called Transformers anymore.
If it were made in Malaysia, we would call it Kereta Tukar-Menukar!
And what's a Transformers movie without cars that can change into giant cool robots, right?
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting the fearless leader of the Peroduabots ...
Optimus Kancil.
Don't underestimate this baby. When it is ready to go to battle, just watch this sleek little machine transform into a fighting robot as it yells out that famous catchphrase.
"Peroduabots... TRANSFORM AND ROLL OUT!"
Ok, maybe not.. makai..

Singapore Again
After 4 days of Nightmare from Singapore..here i am to Singapore again with Nick CHong !! But this time, the reason i am there is for the Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair and ICSC ASIA EXPO 2007. 2 EXPO having on the same day, is really hectic and tiring especially when i don't even have a good sleep day before. Travelling by bus again .. the same old thing.. as if i am floating on the boat, this time better.. only for 5 hours journey, so if anyone of u have travelled by bus to any far distance then u all would know well how i feel. Reached Sg early in the morning around 5.30am at Beach Road. Had breakfast in Coco Restaurant which later on, we asked for a simple map-route to the nearest MRT , and both of us walked there; Lavender Station.
Nick Chong & Nick Tan loitering around Bugis This is the fruit side This is the flower side .. Nice ? Opps should be romantic.. SeX Life Shop . Something like our Msia Wet Wet Shop Woo... What is this ?? haha
We then took MRT to the Bugis Street because Nick wanna buy fruits for his gal gal who has been admitted to the hospital. Oh ya.. this is the reason why he is with me to Singapore. hehe.. Aha , oh man, we walked around bugis just to find a fruit stall and florist shop.. walao.. 6am in the morning. luckily.. we found one .. haha.. Aha.. u guys wanna see how the fruits and flowers look like ? I got took pictures of it. Wanna see.. Below ya..
Later then i followed Nick to Outrum Park where he is headed to the General Hospital to meet his girl girl.. and for me , i headed to the City Hall for my Expo lo.. At first, i am supposed to attend the Gifts and Premiums Exhibition, then come across to the ICSC- where shopping complexs and retailers meet Expo.. which are more likely more on expanding in businesses such as franchsing stuffs.. dunno la.. so go see see lo.. as i reached at the Convention early. Nonetheless, got a lot of info and feedbacks from professionals there. great learning also exposure.. As forr Gifts and Premiums, goodness, only at singapore, i got to know our country was not up to date. oh yeah.. there are a lot updated products which is already in the market but i dont see it in Malaysia Expo. This comes in a great package when i got the opportunity to know few delegates from other country such as Cambonia business owner, Korean Managers.. which assisted me a lot on their korean silk and tie. SO really thanks to u Reo Hwang and Chris Kwon , is great pleasure knowing u. I came across to the new concept Mobile Showroom which is from a Singapore Company, which i am delight when Mr Peter Ong shared with me a lot of his precious thoughts, ideas and also giving me such a great opportunity to co-operate with them. Well seriously.. i am still thinking on whether to joint-venture together with them or not. At least i got a strong back-up of supplies and uniqueness is in line with my concept for corporate gifts and premiums. Trust me, i will get back to u very soon.
I spent about 3 hours there to gather more informations needed. Then I went to the GH to meet Nick.. Damn heavy carrying the catalogues.. oh my goodness.. Tired and hungry.. So mai go find Nick go lunch, but when i reached hospital, we din take our lunch.. i only visited Mimiko and chit-chat there lo.. haha..said a lot of cold jokes and make her laugh.. keke.. bad right ? oh ya, maybe u guys will think, i sor sor dei and wondering why make her laugh, i consider myself bad.. Nah... Is because she just had her operation.. dunno cut which part la.. i think the stomach gua.. so if she laugh, her wound will tear off. ngek ngek ngek... haha.. So.. here.. aiyo.. sorry Nick Nick and Mimoko la... Dun beat me k ..
I later on leave Nick and back JB 1st as i got appointment with my old friend, Mr J.J at City Square and Irin. Terrible leh, walked like hell, from the custom border to City Square Mall .. That time, i started to feel not well, like no energy and feel like wanna pengsan.. Till reach City Square.. body aching , with not much battery left on my cell phone, tried to contact J.J. to meet up at Kim GAry. Aiyo, malu leh, i ask people to go Kim Gary but i dunno where it is. haiz.. Thank goodness, finally i am able to meet him up but the sad thing is unable to meet Irin as she dunno where is Kim Gary. What la Irin, JB lang dunno where Kim gary... haha.. Next time ya.. we meet up again if i am there lo.. Feel sorry tim..
We chat and sit for almost 3 hours at Kim Gary waiting for Mr Nick. And thank goodness JJ accompany me to wait him, or else, either i am bored to death or i really dunno what i gonna do, to wait or to leave.. but i choose to wait thought i am not feeling well.. Feeling like wanna vomit.. oh man.. once in City Square.. in front of JJ.. Sigh.. later, JJ went back to Singapore while me and Nick waited to be transfered to the Larkin Bus Station back to KL. Once again 5 hours journey~~~~~!@#$%^ Reached Puduraya, after get off from the bus, this time, is the second time, i throwed out. Walao..paiseh.. but no choice, beh tahan and damn san fu.. Then we took taxi back to Cempaka lo., coz Nick parked his car at the station there ma .... That was the end of the whole journey. When i reached home, it was around 1am jor lo... Thats another Singapore trip with Nick Chong lo..
So so.. see i am weak right, no la.. in fact i am exhausted with no good food had in Singapore thats why.. well anyway.. due to the reason i am blogging this middle of the nite, so i hope any errors in typing verbs, vocabs, sorry ya.. u all understand then can ge la.. haha.. catch up for more updates.. cheers ... god bless u pips..

Globalising Malaysian Businesses Through Franchising.
Franchising is still relatively a new word when it comes to Malaysian businesses. This idea popped up when our former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, urged Malaysian business owners to jump onto the bandwagon of franchising their businesses. Though many people seemed to be very interested in franchising, we noticed that they did without proper planning. They went through trials and errors and most of their franchising ventures turns out to be failures. They simply couldn't compete with their foreign counterparts. So we sat and thought about how franchising giants like KFC and Mc Donalds's could become so successful. And we realised that there had to be somebody behind them formulating certain business strategies, improving their business systems and propelling them to become global household names in the business world.
For the past five decades, franchising has been the most effective method of expanding a business. Many people see McDonald's as a huge business chain all over the world. But they forget that once upon a time in 1955, McDonald's started with only one outlet. Today, they have over 32,000 outlets all over the world and their success is solely through franchising their business. Now, you can see the impact of franchising on a particular business, if done properly.
Through over the past decades, franchising businesses usually consist of fast food restaurants but today, the trend of franchising has shifted towards the service industry. Today, hotels workshops, petrol stations are being franchised. Franchising also helps elevate local companies into the international business arena, and to us, that is globalisation. So it's not wrong when I say that globalisation happened five decades ago when KFC first emerged in the market through franchising. Eventually they were able to capture and influence our lifestyle, and today, having a burger or French fries for breakfast, lunch or dinner is not unusual. Thus, franchising definitely has a huge prospect if tapped into correctly.
Many business owners today enter into franchising only to make a profit for themselves. They often forget that there are two other partners involved in a franchising equation- the franchisees and their customers. See, if a franchisor's customers don't like his products, his franchisees would eventually not have any business or sales. And if they close down their business , the word would get around and this can have a negative impact on the franchisor's business.
Nowadays, people want to be frnachisees are very smart. They do a lot of research and homework to study about a company they want to franchise from and its business. They would want to know if the franchisor can give them full support, or if their products can go beyond Malaysia and appeal to foreigners. Once they are convinced, only then would they enter a franchising agreement. So, the word here is trust. And the franchisors must not betray that trust.
Another problem franchisees often face is the reluctance of franchisors to reveal everything about their business to them (franchisee). Asians, especially, are very hesitant to tell their business secrets to others. They often fear that people who know their secrets would then venture out on their own and use the secrets to start another business. So, they'd usually teach only 50% and keep the rest to themselves. Now this kind of mentality cannot exist in franchising. The word franchise itself comes from the word franc, which simply means honesty. So, to what extend are you willing to share this secret with your franchisees is another important factors.
Malaysian business owners should change their mindset and understand that in franchsing, it's always about a win-win situation.

Nightmare Singapore Trip
Here i am AGAIN. This time with issues and happenings in and from Singapore. Woo .. maybe some of u might be thinking, why the hack i said, it was a nightmare. Go on reading and u will know. Well Friday nite, i depart to Singapore from Puduraya bus stop which is my first time traveling to Singapore by bus. All the while i drove there.. and this time, for a change, i took bus together with Alex Yik and Benjamin. From day one, it went wrong when we are suppose to leave at 12.30am but i delayed to almost 1.30am only it arrived.
Put it this way, traveling in the bus the feeling is like i am in the boat , worst still it gave me the feeling of throwing out. sigh. the journey was about 6hours reaching Singapore with long queues of people in the custom. Reached Singapore, we took a cab to our hotel Century Hotel which is at Geylang Lorong 20. Well.. speaking about Geylang.. i believe some of us knew this place pretty well and yeah peeps, u got it right. Is the place equivalent to our Chow Kit Road but in a higher standard, with licences and there are varieties of "foods" there.. Oh ya.. "foods" can be either for u (yourself) or for your "little brother" .. hehe. Nah ..nah.. I swear to god, the food i take is for myself .. not muh brother ..
We, then took a nap and went out at 12pm. Toa Payuh is the first place we visited. We had our lunch there-(a plate mixture of roasted duck, chicken, pork)..sorry ya. din took any picture of our dishes. nvm nvm .. bring u guys there next time k .. and moving on to my office EGA which is at HDB- Housing Development Board Hub. TOok some picture inside.. See below ya.. Fuyoh..
At Singapore, they are having SALE as well and is freaking cheap. *Prices range are from $3~$10... and is branded one ya . So if any of u are shopping freaks, go there see see and buy buy .. hehe.. After that we went to Bugis Street and Bugis Junction. On the way.. shocking + funny + embarrasing incident happened in the MRT whereby a kid juz strip and pee inside the train and the kid was doing it just right in front of me. oh my oh my.. Everyone in the MRT even his mom was laughing like hell at him. We was thinking whether what kind of education these parents provide to their child. Goodness.. Don't they feel shame or embarassed on their son action? Duh .. nvm.. None of my business also anyway. In Bugis Street, we visited the Digital Mall at Sim Lim Square, i would say, is something simliar like our Low Yat Plaza lo.. nothing special.. Only the prices of cell phones are slightly cheaper compared to Malaysia.
Tired of walking , we then dropped by for a drink at a shop called Ice Monster which is at Bencoolen Street. Alex ordered fresh mango strawberry sherbet with milk shave ice, Ben ordered Super fresh mango, sherbet with milk shave ice and i ordered Watermelon juice only.. Got some pic for u guys to see see..
After our visit at Bugis, we then headed to Orchard Road.. Here.. more people, more happenings, street performance, bazaar and etc.
In Orchard, we went in to a shopping complex named Takashimaya, where here they are having a food fest. My My, The food fest includes Korean, Taiwan and Japanese.. These are the three country food, three of us went and tried it out.. See see..
When i comes to the nite time around 10pm ,i meet up with my high school friend, J.J.who is missing in action for some time. At first we planned to club at MOS - MInistry Of Sound at Clarke Quay but eventually, we settled down in a pub named ZooLu and i believe we had a good chat there yo.. I see him a success.. People now Sushi Manager.. Dun play play oo.. But people, as what he told me, we might see him , having great time, great position now, but before this, how he fight for, overcome problems happened on him , we know nothing k. In Clarke, I am able to see a lot of concept bars, pubs, discos.. woo hoo.. the best one.. Clinic Bar . Too bad la.. din manage to take pictures for the night event as i didn't bring along my camera. Next time perhaps. We back at 3am and here the nightmare comes.
It do sounds great at the beginning of the day but during the nite time's, I din manage to have a good sleep. Can i just say i only sleep for the 1st 2 hours before i found out that there are something bite me.. In fact not only me , Ben also.. God.. Both of us was scratching the whole nite, and when we see ourselves in the toilet, under the light, GOODNESS.. Rashes with red dot on my whole neck, ear, body and even my leg.
Same goes to Ben.. and that time was 6am in the morning , where both of us are so fucked up, decided to lodge a complaint to the receptionist with the option to change the room or we check out. Finally, we checked out at 7am after our breakfast hoping to back KL and have a good sleep in the afternoon. Mana tau.. the nightmare continues with the breakdown of our bus. Wtf..... The first time is at Yong Peng, waiting for its repair for almost 2 hours and the second time, YES.. no typo error. The bus breakdown AGAIN for the 2nd Time at Seremban. The passengers was all fucked up and only two option for us: walk to the terminal and get another bus back to KL or walk to the KTM station at Seremban Parade back to KL. Me and Ben, choose the 2nd option.. Take KTM back to KL. I got off at Bandar Tasik Selatan which here, gotto thank my brother, Nick Chong because he made an effort all the way to pick me up from the station, went for dinner and home finally. Ben got off at Mid Valley. Everything went wrong.. Shall i say.. SUCKS man starting from the hotel, got bitten by Dust Mite, my first time travelling by bus to Singapore-experiencing breakdown... Too bad la.. din manage to recall the bus registration number or else i think i should go and buy TOTO .. Whatever it is.. It is past.. Oh my.. No next time.. So fucked up and feel sorry to Ben as this is his FIRST time to Singapore, having such a bad moments/memories..... Phew!!

Learning to Love
Peeps, I come across to this feature story and I guess is a great sharing especially for young lovers.. It was about the issue of Campus Love – Is It a waste of time? Wow.. don’t get me wrong. I ain’t saying bout anyone. This is how the story goes.
Question on whether young love doomed from the start?
Loves makes the world go around. Everyone needs love in their loves, from family and friends and if you’re lucky that special someone. Who doesn’t remember their first crush? The nervous and almost sick feeling of having the object of your affection near you, the thrill of making eye contact, the excitement of exchanging words and the adrenaline rush of the first kiss . Aaahh, young love! Oh my god .. As if I am soO old .
No matter what age you are, falling in love is a heady experience and if it can stand the test of time, that love will be there for you for the rest of your life. Falling in love is easy- it’s staying in love that’s the difficult bit. It’s not all flowers and chocolates and fun dates and hugs and kisses. Those are just the good bits. The tough part is how you make it through the times when things are not working so well, and how you handle your tiffs and whatever issues that may arise. Which begs the question, can you really be bothered?
Couples who have been together a long time and see a future together usually try their hardest to make sure that things work out. They learn to compromise and take into account the other person’s feelings and opinions. A relationship that is still relatively young may not have the odds in its favour though.
Is it just puppy love? Are people who start relationships while still young and studying just playing around and not sure of what they’re doing? Are they too young to know what they want? Some people date for the sake of dating and being able to say that they have a ‘significant’ other. Sure, their partner may be perfectly likeable but they still want to shop around. These relationships are of course doomed from the start and are perfects examples of casual relationships. It’s wrong to assume that everyone is like that though.
Most parents frown upon their children dating and being in a relationship while they are still in school. They worry that it will affect their kids’ performance in their studies and jeopardize their future. And the usual mentality is that they’ll have plenty of time for that later and it’s just puppy love’.
Finding your perfect match while you are still studying doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re wasting your time and you will break up eventually. It doesn’t matter what age you are, just as long as you know what you want, how to go about it, and that you want it to work out. It may not be a sure-fire success but at least you’d be going about it the right way. We had the opportunity to meet couples who are in different stages of their relationship to get their take on young love and the challenges of being in a relationship at a young age; the couple in love and still on campus, the couple that met on campus and are still together and the couple that met on campus and are now married.
As for me, I am totally noob when it comes to relationship. I think the main thing I fail to do is to recognize my priorities in life. Some might not understand me and I would say my focus is clear on my career and as for my relationship, I need someone to support me, walk hand in hand with me, strive for the future and if we can lay down the priority then we can still perform academically and at the same time enjoy a healthy relationship. I am serious about achieving this in life and I want to endure that we both reach our dreams and goals. It’s a matter of trust and feeling. We will know immediately if there is strong sense of longing when we’re emotionally involved. If you don’t feel that strongly about your partner then the best thing to do is to take a step back and to remain friends. Taking this opportunity, I would like to seek for forgiveness, for what I’ve said or done which would be ‘sucky’ yo.. I am SoRRY !

Money, The Key To Support Life
Do you tell yourself, "I don't need to be a wealthy person!" or spend time thinking that you prefer to lead a happy life than surrounded having a fat wallet. I would never understand those thoughts. For me, it's better to have found a RM100 note than paying my credit card bills. People around me kept saying that money is not important and yet, they still work hard for money.
In my opinion, it is rather foolish to spend your life working for money and at the same time, pretending that money is insignificant in your life. It's true that life is more important than money. Nonetheless, money is in fact important to support life.
I often think, "If one is given 24 hours a day and you can only do so much. Instead of working so hard yourself, learn to make money by having people to work for you. Only then you will have time to attend to more important things."
To me, what is important:-
Many choose to reduce their expenses to meet their income, but I choose to increase my income to meet my expenses, and it's a challenge to me!
To me, what is important:-
- Have lots of time for my family and the one I love.
- Have money to donate to charities and project I support.
- Create job opportunities and bring financial stability to community.
- Have time and money to take care of my health.
- Able to travel around the world.
Many choose to reduce their expenses to meet their income, but I choose to increase my income to meet my expenses, and it's a challenge to me!

Hey guys, i found an article from Yellow Post and found it really in line with my concept ya ..
And it is a question Are You A Risk Taker ? Here the story goes...
I'd rather save my money in a Fixed Deposit (FD) u guys know ?? its safe and secure- NO RISK!" "I'd rather find a safe and secure job than investing in property or venturing into new business." Your parents may tell you "You'd better study hard to get a safe and secure job in the future!". These are typical mindset among all of us. To many, investing and venturing into new business is risky.
The following should be correct mindset in the 21st century or the information era. Firstly, there is no more safe and secure job today. Look at the retrenchment, VSS, etc. These things rarely happen in the 90's. Today many companies employ the reward punishment approach - employees will be rewarded when they bring in profits and when the company losses money, some of the employees will be retrenched; some will be relocated to other country. Besides that, with the evolution of globalisation, employers can now outsource the jobs to other countries easily. The company may operate from its current based country and outsource its jobs to China or India. Safer and secure jobs will slowly diminish.
How about SAVINGS? To me savings is losing money. Thats because we lose our money to inflation. Lets us look at a very simple example: Lets assume that 20 years ago, there are three people, Mr A, B , and C. They had won a lottery worth RM 15,000 and distributed equally among themselves. Each of them got RM 5,000. Mr A dumped his RM5,000 in a 20-year FD with an interest rate of 4% p.a. Mr B used the RM5,000 to buy a 20-year savings policy from a famous insurance company with an avarage return of 6%. Mr C decided to used it as a downpayment to buy a property and rented it out (20 years ago, a piece of property in Penang cost about RM90,000), he got a loan of RM85,000 from the bank and paid an interest rate of 6.5% p.a. for a 20 year tenure. (Lets assume the rent he received is just sufficient enough to pay every month's installment for his property).
If u do correct a calculation, 20 years later, Mr A will get RM10,000. Mr B gets RM15,128. And as for Mr C, there are 3 possible scenarios.
Scenario 1: The property did not appreciate at all, Mr C sold it at the original price of RM90,000, Though there was no appreciation, but he got back RM90,000 ( because throughout a 2o years, the tenant fed the bank instalment and interest for him).
Scenario 2: The property value depreciated 50% to RM45,000, he still got back RM45,000.
Scenario 3: The property appreciated at a normal rate (This is the real case happening from 20 years ago till now) the value is RM500,000 now; he makes RM500,000.
20 years ago a plate of noodles costs RM0.50, A, B and C can buy 10,000 plates of noodle. 20 years later, a plate of noodle costs RM3.00. Mr A can buy approximately 3,000 plates of noodle only( he is losing approximately 7000 plates of noodleto inflation). Mr B can buy approximately 5,000 plates of noodle ( he is losing approximately 5,000 plates of noodle to inflation). While Mr C can certainly buy more than 10,000 plates of noodle( depending on which scenario is happening).
Who is taking more risk? DO u still prefer SAVINGS ?
P/S: If anyone of u wanna read the article, get it from me , or get a copy of Yellow Post Issue June29-July5,2007. Wake up guys and open your eyes!! This is what happening in the world today in the 21st century. Safe and secure jobs?? Savings? Haha.. Doubted it .. Get out from your comfort zone. Be more adventure. Life is just once for us to make it happening and different from others.

THE POWER OF FAILURE
One of the most experience that we can have in our life is FAILURE. How we handle failure is another area where we can dramatically seperate ourselves from the crowd. Indeed failure has tremendous value. As General Colin Powell has said "Perpertual opposition is a force multiplier".
People who achieve great things are not afraid to fail. Woo Hoo.Isit me ? This is because they recognize failure an excellent teacher when it is viewed through the eyes of a winner. Just think back, as a child, we fell down countless times while learning to walk, today we walk around all day without even giving the task conscious thought. The best example we can see is from Thomas Edison .. Remember him ? He is the one who failed more than a thousand times before he invented a working light bulb. And today he is remembered as great inventor and not a great failure.
Babe Ruth struck out more than a thousand times yet he is called The Sultan of Swat to this day not the wizard of whiff. We can see what does set winners apart from the avarage individual is that they treat failure as an event not a destiny. If we learn to see failure as a signposts that points us towards success, we understand that giving ourselves freedom to fail creates opportunities for big wins. Come on.. We learn failures and use them to add to our base of knowledge. If we allow our mistakes to stop us from moving forward, you've allowed failure to have the victory. WhY in the world you give the potential for failure. or failure itself that much power over our destiny? DON'T DO IT!!! Harness the power of failure and continue to pursue our dream.
I faced with a great challenge, I do what all great people do, I pose a greater challenge to them. What about you ?
